Alfred Courtney Westneat
Alfred Courtney Westneat was the third child of Alfred Alexander and Jane Courtney Westneat. Alfred was born in 1886. He served with the 24th Battalion of the Australian Army during World War I. He served from 12 June 1915 until 19 April 1919. Alfred married Mary Ester Webb in 1920. He was listed as a farmer by trade. He died on 20 February 1960 in Heidelberg, Victoria. Alfred was buried in the Templestowe Cemetery in Templestow Victoria on 23 February 1960. He was listed as a member of the Church of England.
